Job Summary:
The HR Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for various positions within the organisation. The role involves collaborating with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source potential candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and other channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews to assess suitability.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain and update recruitment databases and candidate pipelines.
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings.
- Conduct background verification and reference checks.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with the HR team to improve hiring strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment or HR-related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and job portals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the media or publishing industry recruitment is a plus.
