Quality Engineer (Mechanical)

Experience: 4–5 Years

• Inspect incoming, in-process, finished, bought-out/ off-the-shelf parts.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and basic GD&T.
• Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.).
• Identify, report, and segregate non-conforming parts (NCR).
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and traceability documentation.
• Verify the calibration status of measuring instruments and maintain calibration records.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and routine quality inspections.
• Coordinate with production and vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection procedures.

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4- 5 years of experience in mechanical/manufacturing quality.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and basic GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
• Basic knowledge of inspection techniques and quality documentation.
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
