Job description of Senior Sales Officer for the manufacturer and direct distribution in Aftermarket thru dealer network
Take the ownership for the Sales Growth in Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh including Brand promotion, Demand Generation from Ground level mechanics, electricians and Retailers.
Must be fluent in Telugu. Moderate spoken knowledge of English and Hindi is ok
Secondary order support to primary dealers. Focused demand generation for NPD and New diversified auto components launched by the company.
Conducting, sales promotional activities and capable to provide basic product range training to various types of channel partners, acting like to bridge between distributors and warehouse team of the company, in execution of orders and pending orders and accounts tallying,
Doing extensive travel and intensive field work to link the retailers with Distributors and ensuring smooth secondary business.
Capable to motivate, educate and manage the junior level field staffs, and get the things done.
Capable and act, to do follow up with the quality and finance team of company to settle the warranty claims received from and pre-settled by distributors to the retailers..
Responsible for collection of payment from distributors on time. Capable to understand the account ledgers, outstanding and overdue and co-ordinate with Finance team and not allowing the outstanding becoming an overdue.
Maintain a good relationship with distributors and ensure their individual target achievement and business development.
Must work more like an Area Manager rather just a sales officer, by providing business development and providing activities proposal.
Share time to time competitor's information to Head Office. Be active in WhatsApp groups created by HO Team for business communications sharing.
Capable to Submission of daily 4P report.

Role Purpose
To drive sales growth and market development for the company's aftermarket products in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through the dealer and distributor network. The role focuses on brand promotion, demand generation, secondary sales development, and strengthening the retailer–mechanic ecosystem while ensuring smooth coordination between distributors, warehouse, finance, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Market Development- Take ownership of sales growth in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh markets.
- Drive brand promotion and product awareness in the aftermarket channel.
- Generate demand from mechanics, electricians, retailers, and semi-wholesalers through regular field engagement.
- Focus on secondary sales generation through distributors and dealers.
- Support primary dealers with secondary order generation and market expansion.
- Promote New Product Developments (NPD) and newly diversified auto components launched by the company.
- Plan and execute sales promotion activities, mechanic meetings, retailer visits, and product awareness programs.
- Provide basic product training to distributors, retailers, mechanics, and other channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and dealers.
- Support distributors in achieving individual sales targets and business development goals.
- Ensure smooth secondary business flow by connecting retailers with distributors.
- Conduct regular field visits and intensive travel to strengthen market presence.
- Act as a bridge between distributors and company warehouse team to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Follow up on order processing, pending orders, dispatch status, and account reconciliation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely supply and business continuity.
- Guide, motivate, and support junior field staff.
- Ensure proper market coverage, discipline, and productivity of field teams.
- Lead the team with an Area Manager mindset, contributing to business development initiatives.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors.
- Monitor account ledgers, outstanding balances, and overdue payments.
- Coordinate with the Finance team to prevent overdue accounts and maintain healthy credit discipline.
- Follow up with Quality and Finance teams for settlement of warranty claims received from distributors and retailers.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of claims.
- Share competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market feedback with Head Office.
- Actively participate in WhatsApp and other communication groups created by Head Office for business updates.
- Submit Daily 4P Report covering feedback on:

- Pricing
- Place (Availability / Distribution)
