Role Overview
Vanveda Homes is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial administration and support project accounting functions. The ideal candidate will manage petty cash, coordinate with the company's chartered accountant, and handle banking transactions related to ongoing builder projects.
Key Responsibilities
∙ Maintain and reconcile petty cash for the office and project-related expenses.
∙ Record and organize all financial outgoings related to builder projects — including vendor payments, labour expenses, and material purchases.
∙ Prepare monthly and quarterly expense reports for management.
∙ Visit the CA's office every quarter to submit documents, file returns, and collect reports.
∙ Handle basic banking activities such as cheque deposits, online transfers, and payment tracking.
∙ Maintain digital and physical records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
∙ Assist in year-end coordination for audits, returns, and compliance.
Preferred Candidate Profile
∙ Experience: 5-7 years in accounting or office administration (experience in real estate, construction, or architecture is preferred).∙ Education: B.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
∙ Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and online banking.
∙ Organized, reliable, and capable of handling multiple tasks independently.
∙ Fluent in English and Hindi, with good communication and coordination skills.
∙ High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits
∙ Salary between ₹4 - 7 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
