Your main responsibility is to systematically monitor, audit, and improve the quality of our surface coating processes, which include basecoats, primer applications, electrodeposition /(ED/), pre/-treatment chemistry, and final clearcoat finishes.As the "Technical Gatekeeper," you make sure that painted sub/-assemblies adhere to stringent requirements for environmental endurance, structural integrity, and aesthetics. To get rid of shop/-floor flaws like paint runs, dust contamination, and adhesion failures, the ideal candidate is a data/-driven chemical or metallurgical engineering professional who combines practical laboratory testing abilities with knowledge of root/-cause analysis.
Key Skills/: Paint Metrology Tool Mastery/: Skillful practical use of coating quality instruments /(such as DFT gauges, gloss meters, wave/-scan, impact testers, and scratch hardness testers/). Deep technical knowledge of paint compositions, polymer curing behaviors, chemical pre/-treatment phases, and liquid/powder coating dynamics is known as industrial paint chemistry literacy.
Advanced Root/-Cause Problem Solving/: Proficiency in structured quality frameworks, particularly Pareto charting, Ishikawa /(Fishbone/) diagrams, 5/-Why analysis, and 8D reports.
