• We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Group Protection to drive high-impact transformation initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will lead a team of business analysts, work closely with key stakeholders, and support complex programmes including system modernisation and legacy transformation.
• This role requires strong Agile experience, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to leverage innovative techniques—including AI-driven approaches—for requirements gathering and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and consistency
• Define best practices, standards, and frameworks for business analysis within the programme
• Oversee requirements lifecycle management from elicitation to delivery

• Provide subject matter expertise in Group Protection products (e.g., group life, disability, income protection)
• Translate complex business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
• Ensure alignment of solutions with domain-specific regulatory and operational requirements

• Work within Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.) to deliver iterative value
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams
• Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story refinement
• Ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and testable

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions with stakeholders
• Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance requirement gathering and documentation
• Create user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications

• Engage with senior stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
• Manage challenging stakeholder environments with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Act as a trusted advisor in complex programme settings

• Strong domain knowledge in Group Protection / Insurance
• Proven experience leading Business Analysis teams
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis tools (desirable)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities
• Experience in legacy system transformation programmes
• Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in large-scale environments

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Significant experience in Group Protection / Insurance domain (mandatory)
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing BA teams
• Proven track record in Agile delivery environments
• Experience in large-scale transformation or modernisation programmes
