Senior Product Manager, Customer Returns

As a Senior Product Manager, Returns for the emerging market at Amazon, you will have end to end ownership of building innovative product solutions to improve the returns experience and provide seamless post-purchase product support. The work will include identifying such opportunities, defining and designing solutions (and their architecture), getting leadership buy-in, prioritization of resources, delivering the project in partnership with tech teams and measuring impact.
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
This role, in particular, has a critical expansion charter into new geographies. The role holder requires working closely with stakeholders from IN/WW teams such as Country PMs, Operations, Machine Learning, Customer Support, etc. to innovate and deliver forward looking initiatives which while building a sustainable experience for our global customer base.
Key job responsibilities- Lead the development of the consumer-focused product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
- Define creative, high quality, multi-year product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience and cost
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

Returns team looks at all aspects of customer returns which are essential to deliver a great and sustainable end to end returns experience. This naturally lends the team to contribute to important metrics such as return rate, reject rate, savings and increased purchase retention resulting from improved experiences.- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
