Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Nagpur. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring new home loan customers, building and managing relationships with existing customers, and supporting them throughout the loan lifecycle.Daily activities include generating leads through field visits and partner networks, explaining home loan products and eligibility, collecting and verifying customer documents, and coordinating with credit, operations, and legal teams for timely loan processing.
The role involves regular follow-ups with customers and channel partners, resolving queries, ensuring high service standards, and assisting in collections and portfolio quality monitoring where required. The Relationship Manager will also track market trends and competition, provide feedback to internal teams, and contribute to achieving branch business targets in a compliant and ethical manner.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management, client servicing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in sales, business development, and field sourcing for retail home loans or related financial products.
- Sound understanding of basic credit assessment, documentation, and KYC norms in housing finance or banking.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly to diverse customer groups.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and digital platforms for reporting and customer tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in housing finance, banking, NBFCs, or retail lending is preferred; familiarity with the affordable housing segment is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Nagpur, travel locally for client and partner meetings, and meet performance targets under defined timelines.
