Role Summary
As a Business Analyst with strong SAP ABAP on HANA with BRIM SOM exposure, a typical day involves analyzing organizational processes, systems, and subscription-based business models to understand how they function end-to-end. The role focuses on aligning business requirements with SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management (SOM) and HANA-based technical solutions.

This includes identifying customer and stakeholder needs, envisioning future-state improvements across the subscription lifecycle, and supporting data-driven decision-making through effective requirement analysis and collaboration with technical teams to enhance overall business performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Expected to perform independently and grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP ABAP on HANA and BRIM SOM.
-Actively participate and contribute to team discussions, solution design, and problem-solving activities.
-Provide effective solutions to work-related challenges, particularly in subscription order lifecycle, order changes, and integrations.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, and business stakeholders) to ensure alignment between BRIM SOM processes and technology implementations.
  • Document and clearly communicate business and functional requirements to technical teams, ensuring accurate ABAP on HANA implementation.
  • Support and mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices in SAP ABAP, HANA, and BRIM SOM.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate business and subscription processes to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must-Have Skills
  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development on HANA.
-Hands-on experience in SAP BRIM – Subscription Order Management (SOM) ABAP developments and enhancements.
-Experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP for HANA environments, including performance-optimized coding.
  • Strong understanding of SAP HANA database concepts, CDS views, Open SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues within SAP BRIM and core SAP systems.
-Familiarity with integration of BRIM SOM with CI, FI-CA, Convergent Invoicing, and downstream systems.
  • Skilled in writing efficient, maintainable code while adhering to SAP development best practices.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP Development on HANA, with exposure to SAP BRIM SOM.
  • Position based at the Bangalore office.
