Senior Service Engineer Manufacturing Service Leadership Job Description Our machinery manufacturing division 's "Technical Response Commander " and "Equipment Reliability Authority " is the Field Service Engineer. Managing the whole post/-production installation lifetime, including on/-site commissioning, electrical/-mechanical configuration, emergency troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of heavy industrial equipment at client factories, is your key responsibility.
As the "Brand Escalation Guardian, " you act as our company 's knowledgeable representative at crucial line/-stoppages. You quickly identify complicated technical issues to reduce customer downtime and increase equipment efficiency. An agile, hands/-on engineer with a rigorous approach to industrial safety, technical data logging, and customer relationship management with keen electro/-mechanical diagnostic intuition is the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities/: Industrial Equipment Commissioning/: Oversee the final operational boot/-up, electrical loop inspection, fundamental alignment, and on/-site installation of recently delivered manufacturing equipment at client locations. Emergency Breakdown Diagnostics/: Identify complicated root causes across integrated mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic sub/-systems in order to react quickly to critical field failures.
Preventative and Predictive Maintenance/: Replace worn/-out parts, optimize baseline tuning parameters, and carry out organized preventative maintenance programs and health checks on contracted equipment. PLC Automation & System Calibration/: Attach diagnostic laptops to Frequency Drives VFDs and Programmable Logic Controllers PLCs to adjust parameters, fix software bugs, and calibrate sensor arrays.
Customer Technical Training/: Provide client machine operators and local facility maintenance teams with thorough on/-site operational and safety training blocks. Service Ticket & Root Cause Documentation/: Create accurate, comprehensive Field Service Reports FSRs for each client visit, including parts used, machine telemetry, and failure root causes in the corporate CRM.
Skills/: Strong capacity to concurrently interpret intricate structure schematics, such as multi/-tier electrical circuit diagrams, hydraulic layout maps, and pneumatic logic symbols, is a key component of electro/-mechanical engineering synthesis.
Industrial Automation & PLC Troubleshooting/: Read ladder logic loops, configure drive modules, and examine real/-time signal statuses within control panels. Advanced Diagnostic Instrument Fluency/: Expert/-level proficiency with tangible diagnostic instruments, particularly torque wrenches, clamp/-on meters, digital multimeters, mechanical dial indicators, and hydraulic pressure gauges.
