Job Description
Job Title:- Applications are invited for the Civil Engineer (Architect) position: (01 Post) inSugar Engineering and Renewable Energy Department. Applications should be submitted by Post or by Hand or by email to VSI along with photocopies of original certificates and a CV/Resume on or before 30.06.2026.
Job Description:- The responsibilities will include guiding senior personnel in the Sugar Industry with strong communication skills and excellent knowledge in the following areas: Project engineering related to civil construction in various sectors new sugar mills, modernization, expansion, cogeneration, distillery, ETPs, including infrastructure development, building design, and environmental projects along with design, drawings and project execution.Preparation of rehabilitation reports for existing structures and infrastructure. Preparation of appraisal and valuation reports for civil engineering projects. Conducting research and development activities within the field of civil engineering.
Resolving technical challenges related to civil engineering as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD). Visiting project sites for advisory purposes as directed by the HOD. Teaching civil engineering courses and related subjects offered by the Institution
Candidate Profile:- Graduate / Post Graduate in Architect Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution in India. Computer operation knowledge is mandatory.
Age Limit:- Applicants should be not more than 50 years old.
Terms & Conditions:- This Post is on Contract basis for a period of one year; however, the contract period is extendable for further minimum period of 2 years with 10% hike and subject to the performance of the candidate.
