Senior Manager, Delivery

Overview:
Snr Manager, Delivery will be reporting into the VP of Delivery based in US and into the VP of Engineering based in India. Is accountable for software Delivery, leading a multi disciplined, highly skilled and motivated team or teams and will be accountable for determining how to achieve the agreed business outcome, for iterative delivery and for optimizing their team's productivity.They will have multiple scrum masters reporting into them.
In addition to leading iterative, high-quality delivery, this role enables the effectiveness of the India engineering leadership organization by driving engineering operation, alignment, execution discipline, and follow‑through on strategic priorities.The role leads multidisciplinary, highly skilled teams and is accountable for determining how agreed business outcomes are achieved while optimizing productivity, quality, and predictability.
Responsibilities:
Delivery- Facilitate the team to deliver software which achieves the predetermined objectives using appropriate agile methodology and provide ongoing applications and systems support where appropriate
- Tracking sprint progress and deliverables using burndown chart, measure team performance and continually improve, based on the resultant analysis
- Lead conversation with the product owner and translate the ‘what ‘ into the ‘how’ and to define the backlog and release plans for the current focus
- Manage Quarterly Roadmap status updates
- Assigned to higher level Product/Project initiatives outside of Roadmap initiatives
- Ensure all products are built to their highest level of quality appropriate to the business objectives
- Match the work to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
- Planning and organizing demos and product/System testing
- Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies
- Act as a trusted partner and execution leader for the VP of Engineering (India)
- Translate engineering strategy and leadership priorities into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
- Drive operating rhythm for the India engineering organization, including leadership reviews, planning forums, and execution check‑ins
- Track progress of strategic initiatives, cross‑team dependencies, and organizational commitments
- Surface delivery risks, execution gaps, and organizational blockers early, recommending options and actions
- Enable effective communication from the VP of Engineering to engineering leaders and teams across India
- Support annual planning, quarterly execution planning, and ongoing operational reviews, prepare for QBR in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and collaboration with multiple department leaders
- Partner closely with Product, Delivery, and Engineering leaders to ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes
- Engage with other delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure they understand the objectives of your teams and the work being done and generate commitment goals at all levels
- Ensure that the team are aware of the business reasons and value underpinning the work they do
- Actively participate in the delivery manager community, share and benefit from the lessons of other teams, bring in best practice and leverage our Group capabilities
- Provide status updates to stakeholders
- Support guide and facilitate the team to be high performing
- Enable the work of the team by removing obstacles or blockers to progress constantly helping the team become more self-organizing
- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, agile ceremonies and decision-making process in absence of one
- Work closely with the Product leaders to ensure the team has enough work to plan their upcoming sprints based on product priorities
- You will be responsible for bringing the team on board with the product managers strategic vision behind product and making that vision a reality
- Helping product manager and a development team to achieve stakeholder satisfaction
- Line manage the multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications:
Education & Experience- Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, Business or related field
- Minimum of 10 years
- Certified scrum master
- PMP an asset
