Role Overview
As a Creative Brand Designer at Social Sherpa, you will play a key role in shaping how brands look, feel, and communicate across digital platforms. This role goes beyond execution you'll be involved in creative direction, visual storytelling, and brand consistency, helping translate ideas and strategies into impactful design systems.
You will collaborate closely with strategists, account managers, and clients to build strong brand identities and ensure every visual touchpoint feels intentional, cohesive, and on-brand.
Key Responsibilities- Own and execute brand-led design across digital platforms including social media, websites, emailers, campaigns, and ads.
- Contribute to creative direction by defining visual styles, moodboards, layouts, and design approaches for brands and campaigns.
- Develop brand assets such as presentations, pitch decks, infographics, and marketing collateral.
- Translate briefs, brand strategies, and campaign objectives into clear, compelling visual concepts.
- Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand brand goals and propose creative solutions.
- Present design ideas and visual directions confidently and incorporate feedback thoughtfully.
- Ensure visual consistency across all brand touchpoints and platforms.
- Stay updated with design trends, brand aesthetics, tools, and emerging creative formats.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting timelines and maintaining quality standards.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a creative or digital agency environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing branding, visual identity, and digital design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and other relevant design tools.
- Ability to think beyond layouts and contribute to brand storytelling and creative direction.
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout systems.
- Good understanding of marketing principles and digital-first design best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
- High attention to detail with a strong creative and conceptual mindset.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Consistent delivery of high-quality, brand-aligned designs.
- Active contribution to creative thinking and visual direction.
- Timely completion of deliverables with minimal revisions.
- Positive feedback from clients and internal teams.
- Clear, proactive communication throughout projects.
