QA Manager - Regulatory Reporting

About the Role
We are looking for a QE Lead / Manager who can lead the QE team (Functional and Automation) of Trade regulatory reporting and is strong in managing QE delivery and proactively managing delivery risks. The preferred candidate is someone who has worked on Trade reporting or Capital Markets OTC derivatives domain and has automation experience.
The role requires the ability to manage QE delivery including defining strategies, planning, and execution, while bringing in an independent thought process. The candidate should also be able to groom immediate reportees for their lead journey.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in QA/Testing with at least 2–3 years in a Lead or Scrum Master role.
Strong knowledge of Trade and Regulatory Reporting in Capital Markets/Investment Banking.
Hands-on exposure to at least one major regulation (MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, APRA, etc.).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for regulatory reporting solutions.
- Coordinate with development, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with reporting regulations (MiFID, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, APRA, etc.).
- Act as Scrum Master to drive Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming).
- Oversee test case design, test data preparation, and defect management for trade/transaction reporting systems.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory changes and maintain high testing standards to mitigate compliance risks.
- Track and report testing progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Mentor and guide team members in QA processes and Agile practices.
