Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager – Zoho role based in Chennai. The Business Development Manager will focus on identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities for Zoho-based solutions, including CRM and related business applications.
Responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and product presentations, understanding client requirements, and proposing tailored Zoho solutions. The role involves coordinating with technical and implementation teams, preparing proposals and commercial offers, and managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to post-sale relationship management.
The Business Development Manager will also track sales performance, maintain accurate records in CRM, and provide feedback to leadership on market trends, competitor activity, and product improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing.
  • Experience with Zoho applications (especially Zoho CRM and related Zoho business tools) and the ability to translate client needs into Zoho-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Proficiency in client relationship management, account management, and consultative selling approaches.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client processes and recommend effective digital transformation solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical, implementation, and support teams to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in IT services, SaaS, or CRM solution sales, preferably within the Indian market or similar contexts.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.
