The Business Architect translates complex business needs into technology-driven solutions and operational frameworks. Additionally, the role supports transformational efforts by developing detailed business cases and providing guidance throughout the implementation of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering collaboration across teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Analyze and understand business requirements within Oracle RMS context
- Prepare detailed test scenarios covering RMS functional areas like merchandising, pricing, inventory & replenishment
- Map test scenarios to business requirements for full traceability
- Review and validate test scripts with business stakeholders before execution
- Test case execution & defect management
- Execute functional and regression test cases across RMS modules
- Log, track and triage defects with clear reproduction steps
- Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution and retest cycles
- Prepare test execution metrics — test cases planned vs executed, pass/fail rates, defect density
- Track and report defect aging, severity distribution and open/closed trends
-Maintain test coverage traceability matrix and sign-off documentation
Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions and operating models.
- Ability to develop comprehensive business cases that support transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage effectively with diverse teams.
- Capability to guide and support the implementation of key business initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
