Area Sales Manager - Government & Project Sales (Tiles)
Location: Chennai
Role Overview
Responsible for driving government tenders and private project sales for tiles across the assigned territory, handling the complete cycle from specification to execution.
Key Responsibilities- Handle Government Projects: PWD, CPWD, PSU, municipal & state departments
- Drive Private Project Sales: builders, developers, large contractors & turnkey projects
- Manage tendering & BOQ analysis, pricing, negotiations, and order finalization
- Get brand specified with architects, consultants & project engineers
- Develop and manage project dealers & institutional partners
- Track project pipeline, approvals, dispatches, and collections
- Conduct site visits and ensure smooth execution and repeat business
Candidate Profile :
- Experience in tiles / ceramics / sanitaryware / building materials
- Strong exposure to government tenders + private project sales
- Knowledge of specifications, approvals, and project execution cycles
- Strong relationship management & negotiation skills
