Senior - UAT Analyst

Responsibilities:
Job purpose
To evaluate business requirements and to assist in building dedicated test plans to validate IT deliveries. To produce specific and regression test packs for senior project resources and management to review and approve. To execute comprehensive End-to-End UAT testing, ensuring that all Operational workflow failures are identified and communicated to both manager and IT for resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Build UAT plans from an array of Use Cases, to both validate new functionality and to ensure there is no regression.
- Comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all system enhancements, upgrades or bug fixes impacting operational workflows in any of the Global Payment's application suite.
- To validate the correctness of IT deliveries including scenario, volume, and regression testing
- To ensure that all UAT schedules are met, and regular feedback provided to senior project resources together with explanation of issues faced, successful cases or significant slippage
- To produce UAT results (test packs) and conclusions for review and approval.
- Work alongside the Global Payments Operations management team to specify and design new features
- End-to-End testing (Front office, Middle office, and Back Office) applications in conjunction with the respective team
- Clear and comprehensive logging of bugs/issues found during UAT ensuring timely follow and resolution
- Working closely with all levels of management, operational staff, and multiple IT Teams (QA, BA, Developers)
- Complying with all applicable company, regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience- 7+ years of experience in Finance, ideally FX or Cross Border Payments
- Strong Project related experience and working knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies
- Proven record in performing User Acceptance Testing for numerous Back Office enhancements
- Understanding of Operational Teams, Settlements, Reconciliations, and Investigations
- Strong background in Payments domain (SWIFT, FX, ISO 20022 & ACH)
- Understanding and background of Real time payments (RTP/ API)
- Effective planning, organization, attention to detail and time management skills
- Accomplished English written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work individually and within a team according to deliverables schedule.
- Effective IT skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a pressurized environment with stringent deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Project Management qualification (preferable)
- Degree level or equivalent education
