Role Description The Regional Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi and Guwahati, responsible for driving regional sales growth and strengthening market presence for Vision Diagnostic's product portfolio. This role oversees regional sales operations, including planning, forecasting, and execution of sales strategies across academic institutions, research institutes, hospitals, diagnostic labs, and other key accounts.
The Regional Business Manager will lead and mentor a regional sales team, manage distributor and channel relationships, and ensure timely support for customers and partners. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting field visits, managing key customer relationships, monitoring competitive activity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.

The role also involves close collaboration with marketing, technical, and operations teams to support product launches, demonstrations, and customer training, contributing to long-term business growth in the region.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in regional sales management, business development, and account management within Life Sciences, or biotechnology.
  • Experience in territory planning, sales forecasting, and market analysis to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team, including performance management and field support.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with research institutes, biotech companies, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and distributors.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities for engaging clinical and technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with molecular biology and cell culture product line, laboratory workflows, market dynamics is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with high standards of integrity and customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and work on-site with customers and partners.
