Purpose of the Role:
The Process Specialist role is responsible for supporting business operations through process optimization, operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing productivity, quality, sustainability, and process governance across business units while ensuring efficient operational practices and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in process development, operational optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse existing operational processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and optimize systems, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Develop best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
- Conduct process simulations, risk assessments, and productivity improvement studies.
- Monitor operational performance and support cost, quality, and time optimization initiatives.
- Support process governance related to washing methods, working methods, RABC, process control, chemical supplier governance, ABS, and sustainability practices.
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of global operational concepts and standards.
- Collaborate with business units and cross-functional stakeholders to support operational efficiency and service excellence.
- Support competency development initiatives through operational guidance and process-related trainings.
- Participate in development projects and drive process standardization across operations.
- Review operational practices continuously and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Technical degree in Process Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields with minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience in process improvement, operations support, manufacturing, industrial services, or continuous improvement environments is preferred.
- Exposure to process documentation, SOP creation, and operational analysis will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, or quality systems is desirable.
