Working within the IT organization and reporting to the Senior Manager of Governance, Risk and Compliance (“GRC”), the GRC Senior Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing scalable GRC platform integration solutions that support and enhance day-to-day assurance operations.This includes advancing policy compliance, security governance, and risk management functions through the development of automated evidence collection, control validation, and continuous compliance monitoring capabilities.

This role shapes the organization’s GRC technology capabilities by designing and implementing automation and platform solutions that enhance compliance operations. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely data flows that support visibility into the effectiveness of the Information Security program.Through advanced automation and continuous monitoring, the role enables more efficient, proactive compliance management while reducing reliance on manual processes. Decisions made in this role directly influence the long-term scalability, performance, and effectiveness of the GRC program.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced automation for evidence collection and control validation to improve audit efficiency and accuracy
- Establish and maintain continuous compliance monitoring capabilities across systems and processes
- Lead end-to-end GRC platform integration initiatives, ensuring seamless connectivity with enterprise systems and data sources
- Define and execute GRC API strategies to enable extensibility, interoperability, and automation
- Build and maintain compliance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting metrics to support risk visibility and decision-making
- Optimize GRC platform performance, reliability, and data integrity through ongoing tuning and enhancements
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging GRC technologies and tools to enhance program maturity
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior GRC engineers, fostering best practices and capability development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree a plus
- 4+ years of experience in GRC engineering or IT experience with demonstrated track record of complex integration
- Expertise in designing and integrating platform architecture and scalable solutions
- Advanced automation development, including workflow design, scripting, and orchestration
- Proven experience building automated evidence collection capabilities across multiple systems
- Strong capability in developing control validation automation to support continuous assurance
- Solid understanding of API development and integration to enable interoperability across platforms
- Experience integrating security tools and enterprise systems to support continuous compliance monitoring
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring team members and driving engineering best practices
- Strong personal integrity
