WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for an experienced general QA Engineer (5+ years) to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our Symphony SaaS – a core component that integrates with the main AVI-SPL product ecosystem.
This position involves creating and maintaining comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports, as well as supporting other QA engineers across different projects when needed. The focus will be on testing new and existing adapters, verifying updates, maintaining test cases.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive QA professional who thrives in teamwork, is passionate about quality, and is focused on delivering reliable, well-tested software solutions.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and continuously improve the test strategy, ensuring transparency and efficiency of the QA process
- Identify positive and negative test conditions from user stories, backlog items, and technical documentation
- Execute test cases, document results, track bugs, and report progress to stakeholders
- Analyze logs from devices and servers to identify and investigate issues
- Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to ensure quality across releases
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and main testing types and techniques
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX testing
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr or similar)
- Experience with browser DevTools for debugging and network inspection
- Experience working with databases (SQL)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment
- Strong English level (for documentation, communication with team or clients)
- Ability to work EMEA working hours shift.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Experience with message brokers / streaming systems such as Kafka
- Experience working in distributed team
- Automation tools knowledge (Cypress)
- Familiarity with API automation (e.g., Postman collections
- ISTQB certification or similar
