Role Description :The Relationship Manager – Deposits (Bengaluru) is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing and growing deposit relationships with individual and institutional customers. In this role, the team member will focus on sourcing new deposit accounts, deepening existing relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and service.
Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective and existing clients, explaining deposit products and features, completing account opening formalities, coordinating with internal teams for seamless processing, and monitoring deposit renewals and maturities.
The Relationship Manager will track portfolio performance, support branch-level deposit targets, and maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and company guidelines. The role also involves identifying cross-selling opportunities, participating in local marketing initiatives, and providing feedback to improve products and processes.
Responsibility:
- Sourcing of deposits (fresh+ renewal) from brokers and open markets within the COD
- Ensuring renewal of fixed deposits, and 5%direct deposits
- Responsible for empanelment of new brokers, 5per month
- Managing broker empanelment program per quarter and maintaining broker activation
- Coordinating with payments team for timely payment of invoice as received
- Ensuring that FD receipt is delivered to the customer on time
- Training of branch employees on deposit
