Custom Software Engineer

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the Power BI environment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of Power BI services, manage security and access, and support users in delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions.

• Administer and manage the Power BI Service, including workspaces, datasets, reports, and dashboards
• Configure and maintain Power BI Gateway (installation, upgrades, and performance tuning)
• Manage user access, roles, and security (Row-Level Security, workspace permissions)
• Monitor system performance, usage metrics, and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure data refresh schedules are running efficiently and resolve failures
• Implement governance policies, naming conventions, and best practices
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business users to support BI solutions
• Manage capacity (Power BI Premium / Pro) and optimize resource utilization
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster management activities
• Stay updated with new Power BI features and recommend improvements

• Strong experience with Power BI Service administration
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Gateway configuration and upgrades
• Good understanding of data sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, etc.)
• Knowledge of security models, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Familiarity with Azure services (Azure AD, Data Factory, etc.) is a plus
• Experience in monitoring tools and performance tuning
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills for stakeholder interaction

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
