Role Overview: We are looking for a Application Support Engineer to monitor and maintain Seismic application. Perform L2 tasks
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of application, promptly identifying and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, executing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communicating effectively with stakeholders and escalation teams
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to perform L2 support of Seismic and distribution applications
- Detect, triage failures, analyze problems, implement solutions, and enhance system performance
- Perform initial troubleshooting and apply defined remedial actions based on SOPs.
- Analyze root cause of recurring or complex issues and recommend long-term fixes or improvements.
- Communicate effectively with relevant teams — developers, platform, and business users — regarding job status, delays, and incidents.
- Escalate issues to Level 3 support as per escalation matrix when beyond scope of L1/L2 handling.
- Document incidents and maintain detailed logs of investigations, resolutions, and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve monitoring, alerting, and error-handling processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SOPs and runbooks.
- Must-Have Skills: Must have skill Seismic
- Must have support experience
- Good To Have Skills: Node.js, Experience with investment banking and Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of application support processes and methodologies.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Seismic.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15-year full-time education is required.
