Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Database Sales Engineer with strong expertise in database technologies, cloud platforms, and data analytics. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in database consulting and pre-sales solutioning, with the ability to understand client requirements, design innovative solutions, and support business growth through technical expertise and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design and propose database and cloud-based solutions for enterprise clients
2. Engage with clients to understand business requirements and provide technical recommendations
3. Support pre-sales activities including RFP/RFT responses, presentations, and product demonstrations
4. Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to drive solutioning and successful deal closures
5. Provide expertise in database technologies, analytics platforms, and modernization strategies

Required Skills :

1. Strong experience in Database Consultancy and Professional Services
2. Hands-on expertise in DBA, Database Engineering, and Data Analytics
3. Proficiency in database technologies such as Informix, Ingres/Actian, DB2, Teradata/Netezza, and Oracle
4. Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
5. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualification :

1. 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Database Consultant
2. Experience in Sales Engineering and pre-sales solutioning roles
3. Familiarity with Vector Databases and AI-related technologies
4. Proven experience in handling enterprise-level RFP/RFT processes
5. Willingness to work from or relocate to Delhi
