Job Description
Wilmarcs Motion Pictures is a premium visual storytelling company operating across India, Australia, and the UAE. We specialize in corporate films, event films, documentaries, leadership stories, CSR films, and brand content for some of the most respected organizations and brands.
We are now building a dedicated Events & Experiences Division and are looking for a leader who can take complete ownership of this vertical.
Role Overview
This is a leadership position responsible for building, scaling, and managing the Events & Experiences business unit.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in the events industry and understands the complete ecosystem—from sales and business development to client servicing, event execution, vendor management, team building, and profitability.
This role is expected to function like an entrepreneur within the company and build the Events Division into a major revenue stream for Wilmarcs.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth- Develop and grow the Events & Experiences vertical.
- Generate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Build relationships with marketing heads, HR leaders, CXOs, event agencies, and corporate decision-makers.
- Create annual growth plans and revenue strategies.
- Drive repeat business and long-term client relationships.
- Lead event sales efforts.
- Build a strong sales pipeline.
- Attend client meetings and pitch presentations.
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Lead end-to-end execution of corporate events, conferences, leadership summits, product launches, award ceremonies, internal communication events, CSR events, and experiential campaigns.
- Ensure flawless delivery and premium client experience.
- Oversee event planning, timelines, budgets, staffing, logistics, and risk management.
- Build and lead the Events Division.
- Recruit and mentor event managers, coordinators, producers, and freelance specialists.
- Develop systems, SOPs, and scalable workflows.
- Create a high-performance culture.
- Build a reliable network of production vendors, AV partners, venue partners, fabrication teams, freelancers, and creative partners.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Maintain quality standards across all projects.
- Manage budgets and profitability.
- Improve margins and operational efficiency.
- Track business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Report directly to the Founder.
