We are looking for a highly driven Lead Engineering Manager to lead the development of scalable, high-performance enterprise platforms used in industrial automation and warehousing environments. As a Lead Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end engineering execution, leading technical initiatives, mentoring development teams, and ensuring delivery of reliable and scalable software solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Python along with a solid understanding of backend systems, databases, and modern engineering practices.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product, operations, architecture, and leadership teams to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, solving complex engineering challenges, and leading teams through high-impact product and platform development initiatives.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for building scalable enterprise applications and backend systems
- Drive end-to-end software development lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Design and implement high-performance backend services and scalable APIs using Python
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and engineering priorities
- Ensure engineering best practices across coding standards, security, scalability, maintainability, and system reliability
- Mentor engineers and create a high-performance engineering culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement
- Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, sprint execution, and release planning
- Optimize application performance, database operations, and system scalability for enterprise-grade deployments
- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making for long-term platform scalability
- Identify process improvements and implement engineering practices that improve development speed and product quality
- Conduct code reviews, technical evaluations, and solution design reviews
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
- Ensure strong documentation, monitoring, and operational visibility across engineering systems
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python development for backend systems and enterprise applications
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing large-scale software development initiatives
- Good understanding of SQL, database optimization, and data-driven application architectures
- Experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, system design, and engineering best practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments with cross-functional collaboration
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on scalable engineering solutions
- Ability to mentor developers and drive technical excellence across teams
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and deployment pipelines is an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance hands-on technical involvement with leadership responsibilities
- Experience working on enterprise platforms, industrial systems, automation products, or operational technology solutions is a plus
