Job Purpose
Identification of Strategic improvement projects. The projects are high impact in nature and reviewed and closely monitored by CXO of the organisation/LOB.Plan and Implement these Strategic Improvement projects and other CXO level initiatives as identified by business processes across Financial Services Group and support in achieving significant impact on the business performance.
Identify areas of process improvements to achieve Benchmark levels of Quality, Process Excellence and Customer satisfaction and facilitate implementation through a structured deployment process using concepts including Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Black Belt etc.
using Cross Functional Teams (CFT)
Develop One Dashboard for CEO (Power of One) and periodic update to CEO on strategic projects

Job Context & Challenges:
Challenges - The Major challenges for this role holder are -- Engagement across Leadership hierarchy across LOB and gain acceptance as an expert resource capable to provide necessary support in in identification and implementation of the Strategic projects, Process and Business excellence and Six Sigma initiatives
- Getting CFT, Project partners and Stakeholders and bringing them up to the curve towards one mission of completion of project. Putting project in priority list of stakeholders
- Alignment of Business cases in projects and converting into business objectives.
- Establishment of Leadership committee for regular review on Projects
- Overcome the organisation inertia to implement the changes identified in strategic projects. Acceptance and execution of the changes in the organisation
- Continuous engagement of the various Stakeholders, CFT for driving strategic and process improvement initiatives, keeping in view of the business focus versus Project
- Work with the Project teams to ensure on time and speedy execution of the various interventions and demonstrate the benefits which were expected from the intervention
- Handle resistance to change and create a mind share for acceptance and execution of initiatives. Continuous building the engagement across LOBs and delivery on increasing expectations
Key Result Areas
KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)
KRA1 Identification of strategic projects and business performance improvement projects across various functions including Sales, Channel management, Operations, Customer service and other support functions / processes to help business drive revenue growth/ cost effectiveness and customer experience .Formation of Steering Committee to review strategic improvement projects
- Acceptance to work with the respective CXO's and Function heads to identify key strategic and improvement projectsns
- Train members on key concepts and method from Internal / External experts
- Identify projects based on training delivered and key strategic objectives
- Organize and Review completion of projects with pre defined timeframe
- Development of R&R schemes
- Train members on Six Sigma BB, DMAIC, Lean and Advance Lean tools
- Mentor the teams for project execution
- Review the completion of the projects
- Establish robust project management process for all improvement projects across LOBs . Validate One Dashboard for CEO
- Mentor Project Management portal
- Review success stories and validation of tangible and intangible benefits
- Promote participation in various external awards and competitions
