Position Overview: As a Director - Strategic Partnership, you will be responsible for Identifying, On-boarding & Managing University/Industry partners globally for Simplilearn. This position works very closely with the senior leadership team to align the partnership priorities with the organization goals.The goal of this position is to improve the overall product offerings in a profitable way. This is a high-visibility role reporting to SVP, interactions with SVPs , VPs and CXOs .
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to grow Simplilearn's University/Industry partners ecosystem and enhance the offerings (both Paid & Free).
- Work with the leadership team to align partnership initiatives with business priorities.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture relationships with strategic partners.
- Own the relationships and day-to-day management of Partners, acting as liaison between Simplilearn and the partner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product & customer success teams to align partnership activities with business goals.
- Coordinate all commercial and contract negotiations with the partners.
- Drive joint go-to-market initiatives, co-marketing campaigns and integration efforts
- Handle accurate reporting and Monitor partner programs performance, analyze data, and optimize strategies for increased impact
- Conduct quarterly and annual partnership reviews.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years in strategic alliances, business development, or partnership role and should have worked with partners across the globe
- MBA is highly desirable.
- Proven success in forming and managing revenue-generating partnerships with Universities / Global tech companies
- Understanding of new age Digital Technologies ( Data, AI, Cloud, Cyber, Digital Leadership, etc.) and market trends.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment(Desirable) and a Go-Getter.

- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to craft and execute long-term partnership strategies.
- Negotiation Skills: Expertise in structuring and closing partnership deals that align with organizational goals.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business P&L and how partner's revenue share impacts the profitability
- Technical Savvy: Familiarity with APIs, technology integrations, and SaaS environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and external vendors to deliver results within deadlines
