Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Tech Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. This role involves analyzing and documenting requirements, designing workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative systems that support organizational growth.The ideal candidate will foster alignment across teams, support project delivery, and contribute to continuous process improvements supporting enterprise objectives.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
- JIRA, Confluence — for tracking requirements, managing workflows, and collaboration (latest versions)
- MS Visio, Lucidchart — for creating workflow diagrams, process models, and documentation support
- SDLC, Agile, Scrum methodologies — for managing project lifecycles and delivery phases
- Business analysis tools supporting requirements management and documentation
Preferred Software Skills:
- Business intelligence platforms supporting reporting and data analysis (Power BI, Tableau)
- Process mining or modeling tools supporting process optimization
- Requirement management tools supporting traceability and compliance support
- Gather, document, and validate detailed business requirements from stakeholders supporting strategic projects
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications that guide development and testing
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and operations teams to ensure alignment and clarity
- Conduct gap analyses, identify process improvements, and recommend optimized workflows
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet requirements and are deployment-ready
- Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, and project artifacts
- Act as a liaison, facilitating effective communication between business teams and technical delivery teams
- Support project planning, prioritization, and change management activities supporting agile delivery
- Languages & Tools:
- Essential: Requirement management tools (JIRA, Confluence), process modeling (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Preferred: BI tools for data reporting and visualization supporting requirements validation
- Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills supported by MS Office tools
- Methodologies & Standards:
- Agile, Scrum, SDLC — for project management and delivery lifecycle adherence
- Business Analysis & Modeling:
- Knowledge of business process modeling, requirements traceability, gap analysis support
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, requirements elicitation, and detailed documentation support
- 5+ years supporting business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design in enterprise environments
- Proven experience translating complex business processes into technical specifications
- Experience working across functions including operations, finance, and technology teams
- Industry experience in financial services, banking, or regulated sectors supporting compliance and audit readiness (preferred)
- Alternative pathways include extensive experience in business process analysis, project coordination, or process improvement initiatives
- Conduct requirements workshops and interview stakeholders to elicit detailed business needs
- Document and validate functional and technical requirements supporting project scope and objectives
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment
- Maintain and update project documentation, workflows, and traceability matrices
- Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution to ensure project success
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and manage expectations during project cycles
- Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities supporting agile delivery
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support continuous improvement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis supporting enterprise projects and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, requirements management, and process modeling standards
- Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related standards are advantageous
- Experience supporting projects within financial or regulated environments supporting compliance and audit requirements
- Critical thinking and analytical skills supporting requirements validation and process optimization
- Leadership and facilitation skills to guide cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Adaptability and continuous learning to keep pace with industry practices and evolving standards
- Process orientation with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and quality outcomes
- Organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholder expectations and deliverables effectively
