Job Role: Presales Solution Architect – MDM, PIM & Data Privacy
What will you do
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated MDM Solution Architect with expertise in defining MDM, PIM & Data Privacy solution for large digital programmes
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be- Solution responsibilities
- Define end to end MDM and PIM solutions for clients during sales and presales stage
- Defines and drives Privacy by design solution principles and experience in defining, running, implementing privacy solutions across the globe with exposure to GDPR, CCPA, DPDP etc
- Sets technical direction for the overall architecture, defines component architecture, reviews detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined architecture across the complete Master Data lifecycle
- Ensures the proposed solution is in line with customer requirement and can be delivered
- Responsible for preparing solution content during RFP or proposal stage
- Work with application architects to ensure accuracy of the solution estimation
- Develop Technical solution storyline for MDM/PIM/Data Privacy RFPs
- Work with large cross service line bid teams to carve out MDM/ PIM /Data privacy opportunities in large multi service line opportunities.
- Conceptualizing and leading Proof of concept in presales stage
- Client Presence
- Lead client workshops to understand master data requirements and suggest solution which will help them to overcome the challenges.
- Comfortable in white boarding with Architects and business teams
- Thought leadership
- Write whitepapers on next generation MDM/PIM/CDP/Data Privacy solutions
- Lead thought leadership workshops with customers
- Partner Interaction
- Work with partners to develop and verify the proposed solution
- Challenge partners for best-fit solution
- Delivery handover
- Advisory support to project team for handover from presales stage to ensure seamless transition.
- Work with delivery team, account team, and CoE to ensure the proposed solution is understood and accepted by all.
- Must have
- Strong conceptual and architectural understanding of multi-domain MDM (party, product, location), PIM & Data Privacy solutions.
- Hands-on familiarity with two or more of the following MDM platforms:
- Reltio SaaS MDM
- Informatica MDM / MDM Cloud
- STIBO STEP
- Semarchy xDM
- SAP MDG
- TIBCO EBX
- Profisee / any other market-leading MDM tool
- Hands-on familiarity with any of the following Privacy platforms:
- OneTrust
- Trust Arc
- Big ID
- Securiti.ai (Consent Ops)
- IBM Guardium
- Proven ability to author high-quality proposals, solution architectures, and RFP responses independently.
- Experience in delivering end to end MDM (Party and Product), PIM, and Data privacy Programme
- Understand solution components of MDM (Party and Product), PIM & Data privacy
- Experience in the role of an MDM Architect and leading large Master Data Management program for a full System Development Lifecycle.
- Experience in defining CI/CD architecture for MDM projects using one of the leading MDM tools
- Have got L0 and L1 knowledge of any one of the hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven ability to author high-quality proposals, solution architectures, and RFP responses independently
- Experience leading client workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and executive-level presentations.
- Strong understanding of MDM integration patterns — batch, real-time, event-driven, API-led.
- Good to have
- Detail understanding of concepts of integration (Batch, real-time, pub-sub etc)
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and stewardship tools that complement MDM/Data Privacy platforms.
- Experience working with PII data and a general understanding of GDPR, data privacy etc.
- Experience in delivering projects following: Agile, DevOps
- Experience in the licensing model of one or more leading MDM tool
- Awareness of emerging MDM/PIM/CDP/Data Protection/Data Privacy use cases: GenAI data foundations, customer 360 with MDM, and product content syndication.
- Background across multiple industry verticals (Retail, CPG, Life Sciences, BFSI, Manufacturing, Utilities).
- Enjoys presenting to large audiences, and to senior stakeholders
- Enjoys evangelising and thought leadership
- Self-starter and ability to manage competing priorities well
- Enjoys investing in continuous learning and growth
- Believes in succeeding as a high performing diverse team
- Experience in technical pre-sales
- Preferably with exposure and experience on various industry verticals
- Proven leader who can build and motivate a distributed presales team across multiple time zones and cultures.
