JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior HSE Advisor – Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across two manufacturing facilities. This role provides leadership in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and corporate standards, and leading the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS).

The position plays a critical role in advising site leadership, supporting operational teams, and ensuring that all HSE processes, training, and continuous improvement initiatives are effectively executed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee HSE compliance across two manufacturing facilities
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Promote a strong safety culture and act as a key HSE leader on-site
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE procedures and programs
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
  • Ensure all employees meet HSE training and competency requirements
  • Deliver and coordinate HSE training programs (including NEBOSH-aligned standards)
  • Monitor HSE performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness at all times
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in manufacturing environments
  • Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) implementation and maintenance
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead training programs and drive workforce engagement
  • High attention to detail with a proactive safety mindset
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5–10 years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing or oil & gas environments
  • Proven experience in HSE compliance, audits, and incident investigations
  • Experience working with IMS frameworks (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 preferred)
  • Strong English communication skills
