Senior Software Engineer - Application/Production Support, Splunk, SRE

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Application Support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Application Production Support specialist for .Net and Java based applications
• Roles involves SRE transformation, critical batch flows monitoring, incidents, systems monitoring and releases in India work hours including Weekends on rotation basis
• FA tools set which need very high Observability and Monitoring
• Familiarity with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Servicenow, UCD / Harness and other Production support tools
• The role also faces off to the global teams like AppDev, Product Team, Business Liaison, Vendor partners, CTO etc during standup daily calls and represents the group for any incidents, issues in batch flows etc
• The role also is responsible for ensuring they partner with the dev teams in optimizing the Application health, performance and ensuring the runtimes, thresholds, SLA's etc are adjusted to yield maximum through put and Application availability

Job Expectations:

• Candidate must be based out of one of posted locations - Hyderabad or Bangalore.
• Required to work in the office as per organizations In Office Adherence / Return to Office (RTO) at a minimum of 3 days per week.
