- - Data Backup and Recovery Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure quick recovery in case of data loss
- - Storage Solutions Evaluate, select, and implement storage solutions, including storage area networks SAN, network attached storage NAS, and cloud storage
- - Capacity Planning Assess and plan for storage needs, ensuring adequate capacity to accommodate data growth
- - Data Security Implement security measures to protect stored data from unauthorized access or breaches
- - Data Retention Develop and enforce data retention policies, including archiving and data disposal
- - Monitoring and Optimization Continuously monitor storage systems, optimize performance, and troubleshoot storage related issues
- - Documentation Maintain detailed records and documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and policies
- - Disaster Recovery Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure data availability in emergency situations
