We are currently expanding our core logistics operations and are hiring for a key leadership position at our Gurugram Head Office.This role is vital to streamlining logistics activities, supporting business development, and managing end-to-end operational workflows across various domains.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a capable and driven Assistant General Manager – Logistics to lead our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil construction supervision, logistics management, tender handling, and business development.This leadership role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the transportation industry, and a readiness to travel based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise logistics for civil construction projects, including coordination of transportation, site needs, and vendor management.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new logistics opportunities and partnerships.
- Manage the tendering process: documentation, bidding, compliance, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
- Analyze performance data and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Travel to project sites or partner locations as required.
Qualifications:
- BBA or MBA in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
- Experience up to 1-3 Years in Logistics domain.
Experience: Preferred candidates will have experience in multiple domains, including:
- Civil Constructions
- Supervision
- Logistics Operations
- Business Development in Logistics
- Tender Management
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Sound understanding of the transportation and logistics sector.
