Solution Architect, VP

Job Description

As a Solution Architect, you will define and deliver end-to-end digital solutions that are customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and aligned to the bank's strategic target architecture. You will drive technology innovation, influence stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of architecture capability across the organisation through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

• Lead the definition of solution architecture for assigned change programmes while delivering business outcomes
• Architect high-quality, secure, and robust end-to-end digital products, solutions, and services
• Support the realisation of Enterprise and Solution Architecture throughout the software development lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance, resolve architectural impediments, and champion adoption of architecture patterns and practices
• Influence stakeholders to embed reuse of digital capabilities, driving simplification and alignment with target architecture
• Promote DevOps practices by embedding architecture guidance into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct design reviews of programmes with high architectural significance or risk
• Share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to build capability within the architecture community

• Extensive knowledge of solution architecture frameworks and modern technologies, including Cloud, microservices, and AI
• Experience defining and developing strategic solution architectures aligned to organisational objectives
• Proven ability to create business cases and influence senior stakeholders for architecture initiatives
• Hands-on experience in agile architecture, DevOps practices, and data-driven architecture frameworks
• Experience overseeing and assuring quality of architecture designs, with strong focus on risk management and governance
• Demonstrated people capability development through mentoring, professional development support, and promoting best practices
