Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Social Media Manager role based in Mumbai. The Assistant Social Media Manager will support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms, aligned with ISIM's brand and academic objectives.

Daily responsibilities include drafting posts, coordinating visuals with design teams, scheduling content, and monitoring engagement metrics.

The role involves implementing social media optimization (SMO) tactics, responding to comments and messages in a professional manner, and assisting in running campaigns to promote programs and events.

The Assistant Social Media Manager will also help with reporting on performance, researching trends, and suggesting improvements to enhance reach and community engagement.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to manage and grow online presence.
  • Ability to contribute to Content Strategy and support campaign planning and execution.
  • Proficient Writing skills for creating clear, engaging, and brand-aligned social media content.
  • Producing this content through filming, creating visuals, copywriting descriptions and more
  • Capture and edit original video content and have a hand in all phases of video production from pre-to-post (filming, editing, color correction, sound design, etc.)
  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with learners, partners, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter) and basic analytics tools.
  • Prior experience or internships in social media, digital marketing, or education-focused brands is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
