Job Description

Role: Accounts Executive
  • Handling day-to-day accounting operations including:
  • Processing purchase orders, supplier invoices, employee expense claims, payments, and payroll-related entries.
  • Recording and verifying financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting the finance team in:
  • Credit control and accounts receivable follow-ups.
  • Budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Expense analysis and cost control initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date digital records of:
  • Financial transactions, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
  • Vendor master data and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution of daily accounting and finance activities.
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting support.
  • Supporting administrative and operational requirements related to:
  • Travel bookings, expense management, and reimbursements.
  • Monitoring and optimizing travel and administrative expenses.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Overall, this role is focusing 80-90% in core finance and accounting responsibility and 10% admin responsibility.
  • Assisting in maintaining an organized office environment, including tracking administrative inventories and supplies (as required).

Requirements

Qualifications required
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as an Accounts Executive, Accounts Assistant, or Financial Admin role.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of accounting software / ERP systems (SAGE preferred).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under timelines.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • High levels of integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
