Job Description
JD: Assistant Manager - Projects
Roles & Responsibilities:
§ Coordination with HOD for finalization of work process and detailed operations and execution plan, Coordination with Tendering and Engineering team for Procurement and Finalization of Products, Coordination with Procurement & Accounts team for Orders and Payments, Coordination with End Client and Vendor for Delivery of work and Payment receipts in guidance of HOD.
§ Preparation of Project Schedules, Project Execution Estimates, Detail Engineering Drawings and Diagrams in coordination with Process and Proposal team as per project requirements. (Weekly Review meets) based on project allotted by HOD.
§ Finalization of Detailed BOQ as per site and work requirement to deliver exact product (electrical, mechanical or instrumentation) on site as per tender or work orders.
§ Installation and Commissioning of Projects on desired schedules and cost estimate as laid down. (Cost Control and Time Control)
§ Detailing of all the project deliverables which includes studying orders or tenders related to orders with due clarity on scope of work.
§ Preparation of Cost Analysis for executing work, Project schedule, Project related all sorts of detailed Drawings, Equipment detailing and Procurement clearance plan, Delivery and Transit plan.
§ Operations Management related to onsite activities such as delivery of materials, manpower management, local contractor and vendor management, activity on site management adding to additional cost savings, local machinery and civil works management, onsite procurement planning and machinery planning with engagement and guidance with HOD.
§ Client engagement in term of inspection, meetings, site visits, progress reports, site reports submission etc.as allotted and guided by HOD.
§ Assisting Tendering & Engineering and Procurement team on technical matters (process design & calculation and sequence of operation, Onsite commissioning, and inspection) based on End Client or Specific Site Requirement.
§ Communications covering all formal matters including scope, billings, and schedules etc.
§ Work List activities and process on step ahead on weekly basis to be presented to HOD.
§ End client management for billings, challans, payment receipts and follow up on payments with close coordination with sales team.
§ Onsite safety and vigilance of team and material.
§ Risk assessment and safety measures with up to date covering communication on email by clients and engineers.
§ Commissioning and handover of plants and projects.
§ End to end project filing and cost analysis during closure of projects or sites.
§ Know-how of daily govt and private policy and guidelines such as of NBCC/NGT/CPCB/SPCB etc.
Key Performance Index:
§ Number of projects executed or billed quarterly and yearly.
§ Cost and Profit savings in terms of project executed.
§ Scheduled delivery of project and optimized cost cutting to add on profits.
§ Avoiding Hazards and Client mismanagement or site mismanagement.
§ Timely submission of reports, cost sheets, review meetings.
Requirements:
§ Self-starter, highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details.
§ Process the mental and physical staminal to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / visions.
§ Degree in Mechanical/Environmental/Electrical Engineering with 5 years of minimum experience in water and wastewater treatment industry related to design engineering installation commissioning of STP/ETP/CPU/WTP/UF/RO etc.
§ Manpower handling experience and team player.
§ Basic presentation and soft skill of MS Word, Excel, Office etc.
§ Auto cad for detailed design and drawings requirements.
§ Punctual and organized to work under pressure to deliver multiple projects and task.- Ready to adapt travel and site visits on frequent basis.
