Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CAM programming, CNC operations, and precision machining. Knowledge of 4th-axis programming is a strong advantage and will be highly valued.

• CAM Programming:
• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM, or Powermill.
• G-code & M-code Development:
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code and M-code for CNC VMC machines.
• Tool Path Optimization:
• Develop efficient tool paths to minimize cycle times while ensuring part quality and precision.
• Machine Setup & Operation:
• Managing the Operators to set up and operate VMC machines, including tool loading, fixture setup, and part alignment.
• GD&T Interpretation:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
• Material & Tool Selection:
• Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Tool Life & Production Monitoring:
• Document and monitor tool wear, tool life, and daily production rates.

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• Proficiency in at least one CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM, Powermill)
• Strong knowledge of G-code / M-code
• Experience with 4th-axis CNC programming is a significant advantage
• 35 years of hands-on experience in VMC programming and operation
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools

• Salary: 35,000 50,000 per month (depending on experience)
• ESI and PF as per government norms
