CNC Setter Changing Precise into Quality Job Description/: Responsibilities/: Machine Setup & Configuration/: Fit the right cutting tools into the magazine in accordance with the tool list; install and align specialized fixtures, chucks, and vices.
Program Loading & Editing/: To ensure code safety, upload CNC programs /(G/-code/M/-code/) from the server to the machine controller and run "Dry Runs" and "Single Block" executions. Tool Offset Calibration/: To make sure the initial part is within tolerance, precisely adjust tool length and diameter offsets using touch/-off probes or manual pre/-setters.
First/-Off Inspection/: Using micrometers, verniers, and a CMM /(Coordinate Measuring Machine/), create the "First/-Off" part and perform a thorough dimensional inspection. Process Optimization/: To enhance surface polish, shorten cycle times, and increase tool life, modify feeds, speeds, and coolant flow.
Operator Instruction/: Give the CNC operator the verified setup along with detailed instructions on part loading, important dimensions to keep an eye on, and tool wear indicators. Troubleshooting/: Identify and correct complicated machining problems that the operator is unable to remedy, such as vibration, chatter, or dimensional drift.
