Role Description

The Vice President of Business Development and Client Servicing is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, leading strategic sales initiatives, and expanding Fervent Group's client portfolio in the B2B marketing space.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new opportunities, developing and presenting proposals, leading contract negotiations, and managing key accounts to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention. The role involves collaborating closely with internal strategy, creative, and delivery teams to align client needs with Fervent's solutions, oversee onboarding and ongoing servicing, and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

The Vice President will also contribute to business planning, revenue forecasting, and performance reporting, while mentoring and guiding the business development and account management teams.

Qualifications
  • Strong new business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing.
  • Experience in business planning and strategic growth initiatives, with the ability to align sales plans to organizational objectives.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and commercial deal structuring, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and risk management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in account management and client servicing, including relationship building, retention, and expansion.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams in marketing, advertising, consulting, or related B2B services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
  • Data-driven mindset with familiarity in using CRM tools, sales analytics, and pipeline management for performance tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, with flexibility to travel to client locations and other company offices when required.
