We are looking for a highly experienced Frontend Architecture Lead to drive the design, scalability, and performance of modern frontend applications for enterprise-grade digital commerce platforms. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep frontend engineering expertise with architectural thinking, technical leadership, and a passion for building exceptional user experiences at scale.

You will work closely with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to architect high-performance applications that are reliable, maintainable, and optimized for customer engagement.

The role also involves mentoring frontend engineers, establishing engineering best practices, supporting pre-sales discussions, driving Proof of Concepts (POCs), and introducing AI-enabled development workflows to improve productivity and delivery quality.

Requirements

• Lead the architectural design and development of scalable, high-performance frontend applications.
• Define frontend architecture standards including component structures, rendering strategies, state management patterns, and API integration approaches.
• Build and optimize modern ReactJS and JavaScript-based applications for enterprise-scale digital experiences.
• Drive implementation of SSR, ISR, streaming, caching, and performance optimization strategies.
• Ensure frontend applications meet accessibility, scalability, maintainability, and performance standards.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and enforce engineering governance across teams.
• Collaborate with backend, product, UX, and platform teams to deliver seamless digital solutions.
• Develop reusable UI components, design systems, and scalable frontend libraries.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, rendering performance, and user experience across high-traffic environments.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices including code generation, testing automation, and developer productivity workflows.
• Mentor frontend engineers and technical leads through technical guidance and architectural leadership.
• Support pre-sales engineering discussions by translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive technical estimations, solution scoping, and architecture planning for new initiatives.
• Lead POCs and prototype development to validate technical approaches and de-risk implementations.
• Contribute to frontend CI/CD practices, deployment workflows, and engineering process improvements.

• Strong experience building large-scale frontend applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven expertise in frontend architecture, scalable UI systems, and component-driven development.
• Strong understanding of SSR, ISR, streaming, caching, and frontend rendering strategies.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and responsive user experiences.
• Hands-on experience building reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and frontend DevOps practices.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in fast-paced, startup or product-driven environments.
• Ability to balance technical scalability with business priorities and delivery timelines.
