Associate Specialist – Investment Research & Advisory – Financial Modelling – 4 Years -Noida
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with 4–8 years of experience in Investment Research, Valuation, Financial Modelling, and Transaction Advisory Services. The role requires strong expertise in DCF, LBO modelling, financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and client-facing research deliverables.Candidates with exposure to investment banking, private equity support, corporate finance, or advisory environments will be preferred. Responsibilities- Building and maintaining integrated financial models including 3-statement models, forecasting schedules, and scenario analysis.
- Performing end-to-end DCF valuation analysis including WACC calculation, terminal value estimation, and enterprise valuation.
- Developing LBO models including debt schedules, returns analysis, IRR calculations, and transaction structures.
- Conducting trading comparables and precedent transaction analysis to support valuation decisions.
- Analyzing financial statements, operating metrics, revenue drivers, margins, and cost structures across industries.
- Preparing client-ready presentations, valuation outputs, sensitivity analysis, and investment-related reports.
- Collaborating with internal research teams and stakeholders to align financial models with investment hypotheses.
- Performing quality checks, balance sheet validation, and model audit reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Supporting business development initiatives, market research assignments, and client engagement activities.
- Mentoring junior team members while contributing to training, knowledge management, and process improvement initiatives.
- 5–8 years of experience in Investment Banking, Financial Research, Corporate Finance, Valuation, Transaction Advisory, or Private Equity support roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in DCF Valuation, LBO Modelling, Financial Forecasting, and Advanced Excel Modelling.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial statements, and operational business drivers.
- Experience in preparing financial models linked with strategic and commercial assumptions.
- Proficiency in valuation methodologies including Comparable Company Analysis and Precedent Transactions.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for client-facing deliverables.
- Exposure to financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv Eikon, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Commerce Graduate, MBA Finance, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- CFA Level II or III candidates will be an added advantage.
