Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Design Faculty position based in Hyderabad. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging course content, mentoring and guiding students, staying updated on industry trends, supporting research and development initiatives, and collaborating with colleagues on academic and extra-curricular activities.The faculty member will foster creativity and ensure students are well-prepared for the fashion industry through innovative teaching methodologies and practical exposure.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Fashion Design principles, technical drawing, and garment construction
- Skills in Design Research, Trend Analysis, and Concept Development
- Strong knowledge of Textile Studies, CAD software, and Fashion Illustration
- Experience in portfolio evaluation, student mentoring, and project supervision
- Effective communication and classroom management abilities
- Passion for teaching and staying aligned with the latest fashion industry practices
- Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related field; prior teaching or industry experience is preferred
