As part of our Banana Exports business, we are looking for a highly driven Program Manager – Tech & AI to lead technology adoption and process transformation initiatives across our farm-to-export

operations.

This role sits at the intersection of Business, Operations, Product, Data, and AI, requiring a unique blend of problem-solving, stakeholder management, execution excellence, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world operational challenges.

Role Overview

The Program Manager – Tech & AI will be responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies, translating business problems into scalable technology solutions, and driving the adoption of digital, data, and AI-led initiatives across banana sourcing, harvesting, packing, and export operations.

The role requires extensive collaboration with field teams, operations leaders, product managers, engineers, data analysts, and AI teams to design and implement solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, productivity, and decision-making across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process gaps across banana harvesting, sourcing, packing, and export operations.
• Structure complex business problems and drive solution design through technology, automation, data, and AI interventions.
• Own end-to-end execution of strategic technology initiatives from problem identification to deployment and adoption.
• Track program milestones, success metrics, and business impact.

• Drive adoption of technology platforms, automation tools, AI-powered workflows, and digital solutions across field and operational teams.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, AI, and Data teams to convert business requirements into scalable products and solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and decision-making.
• Support pilot programs, proof-of-concepts, and scale-up initiatives across business functions.

• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to leadership.

• Contribute to product roadmap discussions by representing business and field requirements.
• Support 0-to-1 product and process development initiatives.
• Define business requirements, success metrics, adoption plans, and feedback loops for new solutions.
• Continuously improve operational processes through data-driven insights.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree from a Tier-1 institution OR MBA from a Tier-1 institution

• 2–6 years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Product Operations, Consulting, Strategy, Analytics, Technology Transformation, or Startup Ecosystems.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Exposure to technology-enabled business transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Experience in 0-to-1 product, process, or business initiatives will be a strong advantage.
