The Accountant / Order Handling Specialist ensures accurate order processing, efficient coordination of deliveries, and compliance with financial and import requirements, while maintaining high-quality customer communication and supporting smooth operational workflows between India and Germany.

Challenges we trust you with
  • Verify, validate, and accurately book customer orders in internal systems
  • Plan and schedule orders in close coordination with the Order Handling team in Germany
  • Closely monitor on-time delivery performance and proactively address any delays
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers to ensure high satisfaction
  • Monitor and enforce special payment terms, including prepayments and partial payments
  • Coordinate import activities in collaboration with brokers and relevant stakeholders
What We Value
  • Certified accountant, ideally with a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant / Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification
  • Hands-on experience with ledger management, including maintaining and supporting general ledgers
  • Ability to perform monthly closing activities, including uploading results into a consolidation system
  • Experience in revenue accounting, including sales invoicing and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsibility for accounts receivable processes, including collections, payment follow-ups, and dunning procedures
  • Understanding of asset accounting, including the ability to manage and maintain fixed asset ledgers, and support asset accounting for other country entities when needed
  • Experience with order processing would be an advantage
  • Experience with import of goods would be an advantage
  • Language and communication skills in English
  • IT skills (Microsoft Office)
