Job Title: Website Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist
Experience Level: 3-5 years.
Location: Remote

Shift Time: US Shift (10-hour shift including a 1-hour break)

Role Overview
  • The Website Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist ensures the highest standards of quality, performance, and functionality across all company websites and digital experiences.
  • This role is critical for maintaining the reliability of the company's marketing infrastructure built on HubSpot CMS. It ensures that all website updates, landing pages, campaigns, and technical changes are thoroughly tested prior to deployment and validated post-release.
  • The QA Specialist ensures accuracy in design implementation, SEO configuration, conversion tracking, analytics, performance optimization, accessibility compliance, and user experience across devices and browsers.
  • The ideal candidate is a detail-driven digital quality expert with strong knowledge of CMS environments, marketing technology stacks, and modern QA methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Website Quality Ownership
  • Own and manage the end-to-end QA process for all company websites, landing pages, and digital marketing properties.
  • Ensure all web releases meet defined quality, usability, and performance standards.
  • Maintain consistency in design, layout, and functionality across all marketing web assets.
  • Develop and maintain standardized QA checklists, release validation protocols, and documentation.
  1. HubSpot CMS QA & Marketing Platform Validation

Perform QA for all web pages built within HubSpot CMS including landing pages, blogs, resource hubs, and campaign pages.

Validate:

  • HubSpot modules and templates
  • Smart content and personalization rules
  • Forms and lead capture workflows
  • CTA modules and tracking
  • Ensure seamless integration between website elements and marketing automation workflows.
  1. Pre-Release & Post-Release Testing

Conduct comprehensive QA testing before and after releases across staging and production environments.

Validate:

  • Page layout and design accuracy
  • Functional components (forms, CTAs, scripts)
  • Page responsiveness
  • Content accuracy and formatting
  • Perform deployment verification testing to ensure updates are successfully implemented.

Test website functionality and user experience across:

Browsers

  • Safari
  • Firefox
  • Edge
Validate responsive behavior, conversion flows, and user journeys across all platforms.
  1. Content & Visual QA

Ensure accuracy and brand consistency across all web content.

Validate:

  • Typography and formatting
  • Images and media assets
  • CTA placement and functionality
  • Content layout vs approved designs
  • Navigation structure and links
  • Embedded videos, downloads, and interactive elements
  1. SEO Implementation QA

Validate correct implementation of SEO elements including:

  • Page titles and meta descriptions
  • Header structure (H1, H2, H3)
  • Canonical tags
  • Structured data / schema markup
  • Indexing directives
  • Internal linking
  • Redirect logic
  • XML sitemap inclusion
Ensure pages are optimized for search visibility and technical SEO compliance.
  1. Technical QA & Performance Testing

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues including:

  • Broken links and missing assets
  • Layout or rendering inconsistencies
  • Script errors or malfunctioning components
  • Page load speed and performance issues
Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  1. Accessibility & Compliance

Ensure websites meet modern accessibility standards including WCAG guidelines.

Validate:

  • Accessible navigation
  • Alt text for images
  • Proper semantic structure
  • Readability and contrast compliance
Support the creation of inclusive and accessible digital experiences.
  1. Analytics & Tracking Validation

Validate marketing tracking implementations across the website.

Ensure accurate setup of:

  • Analytics tracking
  • Event tracking
  • Conversion tracking
  • Form submissions
  • CTA tracking
  • Campaign attribution

Verify integrations with tools such as:

  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Search Console
Ensure reliable data collection for marketing performance reporting.
  1. Bug Tracking & Issue Resolution
  • Identify, document, and prioritize bugs or inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with developers, marketing teams, and designers to resolve issues efficiently.

Maintain QA logs and bug reports using tools such as:

  • Jira
  • Asana
  • ClickUp
  • Trello
  1. Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to QA processes.
  • Support the development of scalable QA frameworks and automated testing opportunities.
  • Contribute to improving overall website performance, reliability, and conversion experience.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in one of the following:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Digital Marketing
  • Web Development
  • Or related field

Equivalent practical experience may be considered.

Required Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in website QA, web testing, or digital quality assurance
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as:
  • HubSpot CMS
  • WordPress
  • Webflow
  • Experience supporting marketing teams or digital growth teams
