What would you do? Responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) upstream process from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) creation, including Post-PO operational activities such as PO follow-ups, expediting, and supplier coordination.
The role ensures operational excellence, SLA adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the PR-to-PO lifecycle. As the operations manager, manage a team, oversee service performance, drive process improvements, and act as the key escalation point for procurement and business stakeholders.
A systematic approach used for buying all the goods and services needed for a particular project or for the company generally to stay sustainable. It consists of: the identification of need; finding and qualifying the suppliers; requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results; and contract close.

- 5+ years of experience in team leadership or service delivery management.
- Experience in CPG / Manufacturing Industry domain is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities: •1. Service Delivery Management• Oversee end-to-end PR to PO operations, ensuring timely and accurate conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders.• Manage Post-PO operational activities, including:o PO follow-ups with supplierso Order acknowledgmentso Delivery date confirmationso Expediting of critical orders• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and internal policies.• Monitor operational metrics and drive actions to meet performance targets.2. Team Leadership & People Management• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for PR processing, PO creation, and post-PO support.• Allocate workload effectively to meet service demand and priorities.• Conduct performance reviews, training, and capability development for team members.• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.3. Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination• Act as the primary escalation point for procurement stakeholders, business users, and suppliers regarding PR-PO related issues.• Work closely with Category Managers, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies and operational priorities.• Facilitate issue resolution related to:o Delayed PO creationo Supplier confirmationso Delivery commitmentso Order changes4.
Process Governance & Compliance• Ensure PR-to-PO activities comply with procurement policies, approval workflows, and audit requirements.• Maintain proper documentation and controls for procurement transactions.• Support internal and external audits as required.5. Continuous Improvement & Automation• Identify process inefficiencies and implement process improvement initiatives across PR-PO and Post-PO operations.• Drive standardization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives (e.g., workflow optimization, robotics, or procurement platforms).• Collaborate with process excellence and technology teams to enhance process efficiency.6.
